From our Lesson Today -
Sister Angie Farr gave our lesson today. Our topic was - “There are many ways we can minister to others.”
We discussed the importance of developing a relationship with the sisters we minister to. Find out what their interests are, what their worries and concerns are, what their hopes and dreams are.
We also discussed the importance of gearing our efforts around “their” needs. Does your sister need a visit, a walk, a text, a lesson, a listening ear, etc. Each sister’s needs are different.
We were encouraged to pray individually for our sisters. Pray as if their needs are our needs. The Lord is ready and willing to reveal his will to us if we take the time to sincerely ask Him. This is His work we are doing.
Below is a handout that we shared at our Ministering Interviews this past quarter. We didn’t get it to the 2nd district of ladies that we interviewed, so I decided to put it here. It has a list of some ideas for ministering. Keep it simple and share your love with your sisters.
